69 Leaf Bushing Size VS Musang

Hello all! I’m hoping someone can assist, as I am new to this forum. I have my resto-mod 69 and I am trying to find replacement bushings for the lead springs. I would like to have polymer bushings, but a kit for the cougar seems near impossible to find. Does anyone know if the bushing sizes are the same as a 69 mustang. From what I understand, the leaf springs themselves are different but I wasn’t sure if they used common bushings. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

The Cougar bushings are much smaller.
Not sure of the measurements.

I’ll try to get them later today

You should be able to buy the bushings from any NAPA auto part store. If that is too expensive then call ESPO, they stock them.

Thank you for the guidance! NAPA as well as all of my local auto stores carry the bushings in rubber but none that are polymer or lore rigid. I will definitely give ESPO a call. Thanks!

I have used polyurethane spring eye and shackle bushings from TMC.

Ended up ordering the poly kit from ESPO. They were very quick and helpful. $58 with shipping for the kit. That’s a deal to me! Thanks everyone!

Let us know how well it works out ?
Im soon to make the same choices …lol
