I’ve had this Cougar for 8 years. It hasn’t been registered since 1978. It went into a shop for cancer but never got reclaimed.
I started with putting the dash back together but (shipwrights disease) ended up pulling the engine and trans to rip out the suspension and install an IFS kit. Once the engine was on a stand, a cautious look under the oil pan found bits of cam bearing in odd places.
Stock 351W rebuild, mild upgrades, high rise manifold etc.
Looks like this. I’ll add BBK1515 headers after cam break in.
