Does anyone ove measurements for the proper placement of the floor dimmer switch on a 70? Mine wasn’t attached and it has new floors so I need to lock it in place before I cut the carpet hole. Thanks,
Typically the holes are pre - punched in the new floor.
I have never seen any holes for this in any aftermarket pan. Thanks.

Isn’t there a recess in the floor pan where the dimmer switch is located?
Ya, I dunno. I had nothing left of the original. And the aftermarket didn’t have holes or a spot. Thats why I asked. Thanks.

Here are examples of a ‘65 mustang and a ‘67 Cougar. Both of the switch areas are factory sheet metal. The measurements should resemble the placement for 1970 as well. I hope this helps a bit.
