1971 Cougar Eliminator style / design photos?! Never seen these before. Each side shows a different styling design. Check out that half-vinyl top!

That is interesting. I think I like the strips in the lower picture, but without the vinyl top. It is kind of sad they did not do another year of the Eliminator.

I just saw these exact pictures the other day as well. I want to say they are in a current issue of Hemmings Classic Cars. I was looking at the magazine at the local Barnes and Noble and saw an article on 71-73 Cougars. These pictures were part of that article.
I remember the pics, because the car had two different paint schemes, one on the driver’s side and one on the passenger side.
