Finally got my building done, and for the 1st time in near 30 years brought this cougar inside. I’m pleasantly surprised at how good it looks after sitting in a yard for so many years. The right rear floor pan and the RF fender is bad, but otherwise its in pretty good shape. I had decided at one point to break it up and sell it for parts, but i may throw it on the rotisserie and clean it up. It’s a neat car, one not too many others have, so if i can get it together without having to sell one of my kidneys to afford it, i may go for it.
Congratulations on the new shop - that’s awesome workspace!
The 71-73 big cats are fantastic cars with good build quality and performance. Enjoy the journey.
Im going to have to change the whole floor pan. I see i can buy those from a couple different vendors. What i am going to nee and cant seem to find is a skin for the LH door. I’ll need to build some small patch pannels for each fender, but a lower door skin may be beyond my expertise level.
