Does anyone know the size band that would be in a '69 AM/8 Track player? I measured with a wire and got 13.25 inches and when I try to look up band sizes I can’t seem to find one that matches. So has anyone found a website or know the right size I should get? The 8-track does work when I rigged it with a rubber band, but they keep snapping and I would like to do something more permanent. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can google PRB Line and then click on Cross reference and it lists belt numbers. For 66-68 (Motorola) # FRM 11.2, 69-73 FRM 12.1. We have ordered and used these belts in some of our repaired units, good quality and fit.
So I got the new belt installed and the player works. However, there is a ton of noise coming through the speakers that almost eliminates the music (the music is playing it’s just incredibly hard to hear). I read that this could be a bearing or capstan issue but where would I find those parts to replace them?
