And this one was another date on the grounds of the Drag races at Gateway International Raceway…some time in the `80’s
These are some great photos. What year were they taken?

One of the cars license plate tags showed '91 expiration.
Yea, I thought I could see that too. Imagine that all those Cougars are only around 20 years old at the time I took these pictures.
Now thats a lot of Cougar porn. First thing in the morning too.
I have no idea any more (old age setting in I guess)
maybe 1989 or 1990?

The blue XR7-G and the convertible 68 both belonged to Virgil and Wilma Brown.
This is my '68 some time around 1980…yes, I had an awesome neighbor across the street that felt the need to back into my car. A buddy of mine and I went knocking on the loser’s door and convinced him to own up to it!
I see my Blue 70 XR7 Convt. 6 & 7 photo. I still have it plus a few more.
Pretty sure it was '89. That’s my yellow '69 Eliminator towards the bottom of the first group of pix. I still have it.
The orange '70 Eliminator with Oklahoma plates is still owned by Geoff Wooldridge from Muskogee.
Thanks for posting the pictures.
I thought I’d post another old picture of my '68 for Throw Back Thursday…this one is some time around 1982. Notice the crunched quarter panel is “straighter” and the primer brown paint job has covered the original paint. I drove it like this for a bunch of years before parking it in the garage in 1988 for 21 years!
Here’s another old one for your viewing pleasure. I’ll guess that this picture was taken in 1989 or '90. My '68 and '87 were proudly hanging out in the driveway together. During this era the '68 only came out of the garage long enough to breathe a bit and get some juices flowing, then back in the garage she went. The second picture is the Safety Inspection sticker that was in the windshield when I started the restoration. It tells me the year I last renewed the license was 1988. That original windshield is safely stored away because “I CAN’T THROW ANYTHING AWAY!”
Hi G68,
