1968-70 are all the same. One has a hex nut, one has a square nut welded to the reverse for the adjusting bolt.

They are for the 1968-71 390/428-4V/428CJ Ford / Mercury FE family of engines. Y code 390-2V passenger cars used them until 1971. Not as common as for a small block, but they are out there.

I think the same bracket will work for 1967 - 70 390 engines. It will also fit 410 and 428 and 360 because they are the same.

The 1967 lateral bracket doesn’t have the ‘smile’ cut out for the adjustment. 1967 used a different adjustable idler pulley.
