A long shot, but the XR7 I bought in December was built 12/16/1968 and according to the Marti Report shows it was sold on 05/09/1969 at Bruce Crary Lincoln Mercury in San Gabriel CA. I just received the original build sheet that shows the original dealer who took delivery was Murphy Lincoln Mercury, Long Beach, CA.
I’m putting together a display board with the repro window sticker, Marti documents, and some photos of where I started to show the restoration process, but I’d love to be able to find other original documentation.
