A few post paint pics of the car

Wheels are just spares, originals polished up and re-painted correct Argent.

Looks good!

Thanks. I’m pretty happy with it too. we did a full rotisserie job on it. complete disassembly and media blast and painted back with grey epoxy primer to seal the bare metal, so hopefully it’ll be good for another 48 years. Did only minor body work on the lower rear quarters behind the wheels and a little repair in the back glass drip channel on the passenger side. the body guy took almost 4 months to get it done

heart of the beast

undercarriage. I know grey-slop is/was correct, but gotta love the red-oxide.

Ooohh! Much prettiness! Love the color. Are those muffler hangers and suspension bumpers supposed to be red oxide? (just kidding).

Very nice. Well worth the 4 month wait I’d say.

Very nice. I 2nd the comment on the color. That color with the GT-E paint scheme will be a show stopper.

Beautiful paint work and nothing like a fresh wet sand and polish job. All downhill from here.

Yummy!!! Going to be killer!

Wowzers! Looks great!

I really like your undercarriage! Good Job!

thanks, really encouraging comments. I appreciate them all.

Don, thanks for the Sharpie suggestion. it looks great. I still think I’ll buy your last two Fender Badge Decals just to have, and decide what goes back on the car.
