A Shelby fan sent me a picture of the front of the AO Smith building in Michigan from 1968. On one side of the door on a pedestal is a yellow Shelby KR, on the other side of the door you can just make out the rear of an XR7-G on a pedestal.
Would anyone have a full width picture showing the G or just the G?
Where’s the picture? I for one would love to see it.

Looks like a white helmet on the steering wheel of the Shelby. The G looks like it was Wellington Blue.
I have asked the Shelby guys for years if anyone has a photo showing the G and so far no one has produced one.
I’m sure there is a a photo out there somewhere.

Also, note that the '68 Shelby in that vintage photo has hubcaps and no Lemans Stripes - that’s the way they came originally.
