So, here’s a quick video of mine. Sold the Lime Frost car, the yellow XR-7 was repainted the original Grecian Gold and is now living happily in Australia. I still have the Augusta Green one, my keeper:

Yup. tried, and some “twit pic proxy” address doesn’t work… One more time, without the ooops ![]()
Funny it did show the picture first thing this morning.

Still nothing, monkey with the picture some more.

Steven
Thanks, the monkey did it! pic works now.
That’s the one the tree got?
Yeah. Bought it in 1987 or so with money I made cutting grass.
Cool I can finally see the photo. I see what looks like white seats in you car but I can’t tell what color the door panels are. Are they brown or black?
Steven
It was an original Green on Green car. I did the seats, headliner, and sail panels in white when they wore out, thinking I’d do the rest in black. It grew on me, so I left it that way. If it sounds, icky, it probably was. I was a very fashion challenged young man. ![]()
I later painted it British Racing Green with a silver flake roof when the white went bad.

They are a dark ivy green from what I can see. OOPs, I see you already responded.

I wouldn’t worry about being fashion challenged…if any of us dressed in the 80’s we were all that way. ![]()
The British racing and the silver flake roof sounds cool. I can kind of picture it like the G Force Cougar, so that’s cool in my book.
Steven
Well, thanks for making me feel a little better.
The car originally had a vinyl top. I removed that and had a guy weld up the trim holes for me. Never regretted that decision.

Now that is an amazing picture, love the stance and the color. Kudos to all the other pics in this thread.
Oh my, you just said “summer’s eve” didn’t you? Are you familiar with that brand name or did you just make a joke on accident?
A pleasant late summer’s eve is just that much better in a convertible.
Jody you need to post a copy of that picture in the ROTM section. It’s a nice shot of your vert.
Steven
, yup, good shot there. You and Bill P. sure know how to make a guy want to chop his roof off.

If ya really want to chop that top off I’ll let you use my Dremel, it’s awesome! ![]()
Oh never mind, I forgot you have the Dremel you used to do your dash. ![]()
