All time favorite 'sport' picture

OK OK…so its photoshopped and not a ‘sports pic’…still funny IMHO

LMAO, now that’s funny

The Gamecocks and Clemson fans are bitter rivals here in South Carolina. That speed limit picture is everywhere there is a Gamecock fan. It’s like pouring salt in Tiger fans wounds. Ouch!!! :biggrin2:
Steven

As long as we’re talking sports, how about these guys?

I’m usually cautiously optimistic, but they are pretty darn good.

Al you are a true gentleman. I realize you are talking basketball, but here I have been boasting of the mighty 'EERS and you have yet to mention a certain 49-23 :biggrin2: embarrassment back in October. If I remember correctly, the only Big east win for the Orange this year…

I truly hope they do well in the ACC next year or whenever they officially jump over. Pitt on the other hand… :greenchainsaw:

I’m not really a big trash talker Chuck. But even if I were, I certainly wouldn’t be braggin’ on our football program.

No probs. It can be fun though between friends. Don’t really get into it at all with complete strangers. Problems arise when someone can ‘dish’ it out but can’t receive… That’s one reason I look forward to competing in the Big XII…friendly banter with 3… Although I have the upper hand on him at the moment(at least I like to think I do!!), I’m pretty sure I’ll probably see the day I regret it…LOL!!!

LMAO, Chuck, speaking of regretting, you priced that Oban yet? Yup, I can dish, and I can take, cuz when the Gooners suck, believe me, I know it! When I was there, they sucked BAD!!! Think they only beat the hated 'horns once…ugh!!!

Football ?

Meh !! :bs:

Where’s all the pictures of women’s beach volleyball, or good ole oil wrasslin’ ?!

Shoot, Todd; what are you cryin’ about - it’s only the Gooners -vs- the “Hooker 'Horn’s”!

I, on the other hand, went to only ONE football game while in college - and that was to watch the Wildcats try to BUY BACK their aes after the game wherein said aes were taken by Colorado State fer Gossakes! :egoshooter:

It was embarrassing - almost as bad as the repeated events that made me give up on first the Choke-alo Bills and then the Pack(up)ers in the NFL. Gotta be almost as embarrassing as being a Cry-boys fan.

Bombs thrown - CHECK!
Asbestos underware - Check and Double-Check!

LMAO, now that there is FUNNY stuff…Hooker Horns and Cryboys…

Funny thing about you only going to one game while in college…during my 4 years at OU, I never went to a single game! And two of those years, I lived DIRECTLY across the street from the NE corner of the stadium! Coulda rolled out of bed, and into the game. (Disclaimer: I worked Sat/Sun, 6 a.m.-10 p.m., 16 hr days)…gave me a pretty full paycheck, and left the week free for school. :y:.

No asbestos undies needed from this direction, Horns, boys, buffs, bills, and packs…:raspberry:…FLY, EAGLES, FLY!!!

(Oh, and, HIDE YER BEAGLE, VICK’S AN EAGLE!!!)

Nice!
Pretty impressive feat by the Bills to make it to 4 consecutive Super Bowls. Even more impressive and what they’ll always be remembered for is losing all of them.

LMAO, I had forgotten that lil tidbit…Simms, wasn’t it?? And…here’s MY favorite sports moment, featuring his son:

Here’s a pic…

I played collegiate rugby when Lomu was still a bulldozer for NZ. He was an amazing athlete and this pic shows his top condition and mindset on the pitch.
If any of my fellow Americans or Canadians have seen the film Invictus, he’s the guy that the Springboks were so scared of in the final game. It’s like the guy was grown in a lab to be in a ruck.
I’d have payed big money just to get a chance to TRY and stop the guy in a game, back then.
American football blows compared to Rugby. :biggrin2:

Rugby’s pretty fun to watch…probably more so if I knew the rules!

Two things about that photo…

  1. Good Lord, lookit those thighs!

This one is “tongue-in-cheek”…
2) I think I’ve seen him in some bad Japanese karate movies!!! (The expression on his face)

This will get you started in less than 7 minutes. No forward passses. Clock and play don’t stop at tackle. Only tackle the guy with the ball, no blocking. etc.
:gaptooth:

Yeah…not so much.

And, here’s one of USA Rugby’s Todd Clever, my current favorite player for our national team.
Big long haired bruiser, like I was back in the day. Except he’s bigger and stronger. :buck: I turn 40 this year… No more rugby for me.

Catch a ball and tip toe 1/2 yard for a TD? Meh… This is how to return a turnover for a touchdown:
