So check out this pic of my bumper. I had it rechromed about 7 years ago and it’s just been sitting in its wrapper. Going to mount it for some test fitting and I see some thing that just doesn’t look right. Check out these washers that look like they are welded to the bumper. Could the monkeys that rechromed this welded these onto the bumper in the chromeing process??? Just doesn’t look correct.

Those are for the jig that holds the bumper for chroming. Cut them off carefully. If you get one really hot the blue will show through the other side.
Common practice with the chrome shops in my experience.
I would just grab those with a good pair of pliers and break them off instead of cutting. They’re only tack welded.
