Looking for some new CAD software.
Will use it for programming use with a FARO Arm.

Any recomendations?

Solidworks if doing modelling (which I assume you are since you made reference to a FARO arm).

Solidworks is popular.
At the training class for the FARO Arm, was talking with the guys and they all used Solidworks.

Can it create tool paths.

I believe that there is an add-on for doing CAM. I use it for designing plastic molded parts mostly.
