My '68 is almost sold and I may be looking for a replacement in the near future. This one caught my eye and was wondering if there are any Gladstone locals on here that would get some fun out of checking it out to see if it looks like a prospect:
It will be for sale again in a few days, Denwerks in Salem bought it and it will go on B.A.T. at no reserve. If you get serious I can check it out, right down the street from me. Denwerks recently sold a model T at no reserve and our own mmeat (Brian) ending up getting it for cheaper than what Denwerks paid for it!
Thanks Don, good to know. I had another look at the pics and a few things didn’t look quite right to me (incorrect console for a '68 and Cougar badges above the reflectors on the rear quarters were mounted in the wrong positions). Plus at $14.5K I wasn’t completely happy with the price.
I’ve decided I want to see how close I can get to my ‘holy grail’ Cougar this time around: black '68 small block auto with maroon interior, console, power steering and brakes. Would also really love to find an Oregon car just so I could have one of your guys check it out for me. So I may be waiting quite a while…
If anyone does follow the Denwerks auction for the green one, I’d be interested to find out what it sells for.
