Has anyone use Timeserts (and which kit) to repair the threads of the needle valve assembly on a Holley fuel bowl? It would have to be short ones to allow the fuel to flow underneath.
You would be better off just buying another fuel bowl, but this is the smallest I could find.

Carlton is on the money, buy another bowl.
…unless it is a vintage double-threaded inlet cathedral-style primary bowl. Those are hard to come by, and probably worth repairing - if for nothing more than to have a spare on the shelf.
Fair enough Mike! If you can find such a thread repair insert that is (and thinking that might be a big IF!). HNY!
We use HeliCoil brand all the time here at work but not for cars. I have fixed a few threads on my Autolite Carb with HeliCoils but not in the area you are referring to. HeliCoils go down to #2 threads so I would think you are covered. Would it work for a needle valve? I would think so but you need to properly clean the hole afterwords. BTW HeliCoil is the original insert as far as I know.
On a Holley, the needle/seat assembly is fairly good sized, but a pretty fine thread. This is why I am wondering if such an insert is made. And yep, Heli-coil is probably the original repair insert, they certainly are the best in all my years using them…
Thanks folks for the info, I’ll forward. It is an original Shelby carb. Fine copper wire strands wrapped around the valve assembly threads has so far stopping the valve from popping up. Not the long term solution.
Have you looked at Chrislynn inserts?
I used a metric helicoil on one of my Holley bowl bolt hole threads because I could not find one in the exact size and fine thread count. (It is not a normal size / thread count)
The metric size I used was slightly loose on the bolt, but it tightened up fine and is holding like a champ.
Just saying you might have to resort to a metric size that is not perfect, but still works…
