Armor-All on interior windshield

This isn’t a Cougar specific question, but let’s say that hypothetically someone’s wife decided to detail her car and sprayed and wiped Armor-All all over the interior of the windshield thinking Armor-All was a type of cleaner.

Any ideas on something that would take it off?

So far I’ve tried Windex, Rubbing Alcohol, Castrol Degreaser, and McGuire’s Windshield Cleaner. There’s still a haze.

Open to all suggestions.

Try vinegar and use news paper. Yes news paper.

News paper (plus a liquid cleaner) is the best for cleaning windows.

I’ve never heard of using newspaper before. Thank you. I’ll give it a shot.

Going by the title, thought you were on to something new.

I was turned on to cleaning windows with newspaper from my father. I looked at him crazy until he insisted I try it! As expected the old man knows what he talking about!

^^^ I pull out sheets of newspaper, ball them and un ball them a few times, spray the windshield with cleaner and then scrub.

Your hands will get newsprint all over them but your windows will sparkle :beerchug:

Another thing that may help is Isopropyl alcohol. Put it directly on a microfiber towel or a paper towel. I have not tried using it on a news paper. But after using the Alcohol clean with your favorite glass cleaner.

I always thought it was nuts too. My mom had us kids cleaning the windows with vinegar/water and newspaper. No streaks and works like a champ.

Throw out the Harm-it-all while you’re at it. Nothing kills an interior like silicon

So you’re saying your hands will get dirty from the black ink off the newsprint but not the window? Hard to believe but I will try it out soon.
Thanks for the tip.
