Does anyone have experience with the sway bar being too low once the front end was dropped and lowered using shorter springs and the Arning/Shelby drop?
Of course when the lower arms rise the front(center section) of the sway bar goes down. My problem is that its about 3" off the ground.
No, but as the bar pivots on the frame mounts, lowering the ends will tip the front of the bar upward. The ends of the bar should be more or less parallel to the control arms, which means you need shorter links.
Took it out tonight and layed the original 5/8" on top of it. The center “U” section is about 3 " longer plus the angle is way off too. Its either made wrong or the wrong one. WIll be getting in touch with them on Monday. Meanwhile, Note to Self: Always save all that old crap you tore off. Came in handy. It will be making it uncompleted debute at the Sat night car show.
Thank you all for your input. It is much appreciated.
Oh great. Laurel Mountain Mustang is out of business. No wonder though. I had a nightmare of a time when I ordered and received the entire suspension kit. Ordered one from Opentracker.
