Nice article and brief history of the Cougar and the factories were they were produced ( including the San Jose / Milpitas factory ). One error has crept into the narrative : it is stated that the 1972 Mercury Cougar was produced in the San Jose Factory. Not true, as the Cougars were only made there from 1968 into early 1969.
