Back of seat foam?

Hi all, I just realized I stupidly threw away the molded seat foam on the back of my passenger seat. I assumed I’d get a new one with the replacement foam kit. Any idea on where I can source one of these? Do they make re-pops? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What year Cougar? What style seat? Standard, Decor, or XR7. I am not sure if the style makes a difference but it might.

I did my seats this spring. A couple places to source upper and lower foam padding for the front seats. Depends on the year of vehicle etc… The new foam padding might look way more plush and plum next to an original drivers seat. FWIW - I could not find any replacements for rear seat foam and had to make my own from sheets of material. Not too difficult since the rears are more rectangle shaped.

Thanks for the input. It’s a much denser foam. The car is a 1967 standard with a bench seat.

You may be able to make your own padding if the seats are more rectangular. Check out what I did the the rear bench in mine. For the back I reused the original batting but added one half of a sleeping bag. For the bottom cushion I started with two layers of foam and sleeping bag. That was two thick so ended up using one sheet of foam w/bag.

Yes, I did the same to the back seat. I’m referring to the molded foam on the back of the front seat.

Did you ever get what you needed? I have a loose seat back section that may be helpful to you.
