1969 Mercury Cougar base. Beautiful original color of Royal Maroon. Mild changes with Cougar proper equipment to make it more sporty include front chin spoiler, blackout grill, magnum 500 wheels, dual exhaust, lowered street performer suspension, tachometer, and sport passenger mirror. Modifications for driveability include AOD transmission (for that 4th cruising gear – will go 65 MPH at 2k RPM), POSI unit put into the 9” rearend, High efficiency starter (less power, more torque, and it does not suffer from the overheating like the original equipment!). Runs beautifully, starts right up, great drive around car. Equipped with modern radio that looks like OE, and aftermarket speakers. Equipped with cold blowing original factory Air conditioning. Engine is a 351W 2v. Interior redone several years back and in great condition. Does not disappoint. Have Marti Report.
The car is in south eastern Michigan, but has never seen snow. It spent most of it’s life in New Mexico, and since 2016, has been back by it’s birthplace garage kept and pampered.
