Blue Chip investment cars ideally would keep their ‘born with’ parts intact. There are some shops that can re-core original radiators.
If you have the original Dearborn installed radiator, I would consider a quality restoration. Need to make sure that the fin count and tube spacing is consistent with the OEM.
OEM Boss2 radiators are Modine with Ford part number on the side strap. FoMoCo imprinted on the top tank. 4 speed cars did not have fittings in the lower tank for automatic transmission cooling lines. WMo on top tank was supplied by Western Modine, and would be correct for a vehicle built in San Jose.
