Booster 9 inch conversion


Looking at changing booster does will this fit or do I need to stay with the original.

The video will tell you this and more, the '70 used a straight yoke on the pushrod rather than the offset one shown.

I am immediately suspect of anything that says one size fits all. You did the right thing coming here. Let’s see if any one has tried this on a '70. The wrong style push rod will damage the booster and the brakes really won’t work right

Unfortunately the reproduction booster sold by LEED and many others is crappy and useless. The right answer is to have your original rebuilt properly by Booster Steve. Give Power Brake Booster Exchange a call. Typically they will turn your booster around in a week. With shipping both directions you can figure on about 2 weeks depending on what part of the country you reside in.
