Borgeson power steering

i am using the original steering column and steering wheel that came on the car .

Thanks. I have the ididit column with Ford splines and turn signal switch in my 69 XR 7. With my Grant steering wheel adapter, the slot in the cancellation collar does not align with the cancel pin on the turn signal switch. I have another wheel (MV? VM?) where the slip rings for the horn do not match the horn contacts on the TS switch.
I really like the Ididit column, although I wish it put the steering wheel a bit further away from the dash.

I trimmed about 3/4" off the shaft. Borgeson recommended I stay with original pump and I have an original tilt a way wheel.

Did you have issues getting your idler arm to be parallel with the frame using the Borgeson adapter on your drag link? It says to tighten the adapter fully on but when I do that both the idler arm and the pitman arm are toed inward instead of parallel.

Well, it’s interesting you bring this up. My lock to lock steering is limited and I had the issues with bump steer that i corrected with the Baer kit. However, I had attributed the bump steering to the upper control arm modifications, but my blue car has them with no issues. So now I’m going to go back and analyze. I had used the pin location on the center link intended for the stock control arm. All this to say, I can answer your question at this point…I’ll update you when I know

Lock to lock, do you get 3 3/4 turns? That’s what I’m currently getting. I also did the Shelby drop with the 1" lower coil springs.
