Does anyone know how many Boss 302 Cougar Eliminators were made in both 1969 and 1970?

That’s at pretty high percentage in 70!

The increase in Boss 302 Mustang production was even more dramatic:

1,628 in '69.
7,013 in '70.

Also, those numbers put into perspective just how rare any Boss-engined Cougar really is.

Makes me feel even more fortunate to have sat in one and handled the cracked piston skirts of another…

Have to keep in mind that '69 Boss production didn’t start until mid-April '69. So basically about 2 1/2 months of production.

What I find interesting is the survival rates of the Boss and CJ Eliminators vs the 351 and 390 cars. Very skewed, compared to production numbers.
