Brake issue update continued?

Hello everyone,
I posted about my brake issues earlier this week for my 1970 cougar xr7. To summarize I did a rear brake swap and updated to 7in brake booster with aftermarket 1” bore master cylinder. The brake booster was shot and I ended up purching the original brake booster. My main concern is if the original 1” bore master cylinder will work with disc/disc set up. I also switched to the disc/disc proportioning valve as well. If anyone can help with seeing if the original master cylinder will work I would gladly appreciate the help. I am racking my brain with this brake problem.

Note: I tried using the big corvette master cylinder but out good old shock towers are in the way.
