Hi all!
I’m trying to install a new brake light switch and need some help. I got the first bushing onto the pin on the pedal, and another on the booster/master cylinder rod, but is there a trick to getting the pin and switch back on the rod, so I can put the pin back on? I’ve removed the seat and steering wheel, lying on my back, but I cant seem to get the space for my mitts, eyes, and light all at once! 
I have been in the same boat! Walk away for awhile then try again! No trick just patients and flexibility. Lol
Finally got the switch on, plugged, and working…but catching that tiny hole with the cotter pin is gonna be the death of me.
I didn’t take anything out of the way. I just used a small mirror to get the idea of what I needed to do. Then was calm and patient. Maybe I wiggled the peddle a bit but that was more to get the switch into position. Make sure it is fully seated back or the pin doesn’t have a chance of going in.
