All the rear lights function as they should when the car is parked, engine running or off. However when the car is driven the Brake lights do Not come on! Speed does not matter or car in a straight or turning motion…
Do we now have 2 threads for the same subject? As to why they are not working when the car is moving is hard to say from here. But I suspect you may have a manual brake switch and have power brakes. Thus when stopped(ie not moving) you can exert more pressure on the peddle then you would when moving.
Did you check the switch under the dash ? I had the one in my 67 get stuck and the brake lights would stay on . I replaced the switch and everything works normal as iy should. Start there.
