We are the company that makes the 1969 and 1970 Mercury Cougar Rocker Panel Moldings. Recently, Mort Burton, partner here at B&B Reproductions passed away. I am posting to let you all know that we are still here and still reproducing our rocker moldings. I know WCCC sells our moldings to many of the members here. We are planning to continue on, with the same values and quality that Mort instilled in the company. If anyone has ordered or is planning on ordering rocker moldings, please know that our shipping and production times have slowed because of the possible transition of ownership. You need not to worry, as I previously mentioned, we will continue as before, only hoping to improve.
Hopefully after several months we can start more R&D on new items.
I’m sorry to hear that you’ve lost a member of the company family. No doubt this is a difficult time for all of you and we wish you all well. Good luck with the transition and we look forward to seeing any new products you may develop.
67-68 Cougar front and rear moldings or 67-68 wheel lip moldings wouldn’t be on the list, by any chance, would they?
Currently we do not make anything other than the rocker moldings. We specialize in Fords specifically and I do not know as much about Mercurys. If there is a high demand for a molding, we can always look into producing it.
Christina, welcome to Classic Cougar Community Forums. Since this is an enthusiast owned and operated board, We welcome Cougar parts vendors to participate on the board. Glad to have you here. If you do develop new parts, the members here are very helpful and would be a great resource for you to work with.
