C4 rebuild, servo kit?

Hello everyone! I’m really excited to bring activity to this site. Bill you have done an excellent job and I truly feel there is not a better person to run this site.

Ok so I am going to be rebuilding my '67 C4 this Jan and have pretty much decided on this rebuild kit: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TCI-528800/ Would it be beneficial to also get the TCI “servo kit”? Apparently it uses a different piston and helps the life of the trans. Has anyone used something like this before?

I rebuilt the C4 on my son’s '68 and did not change the servo piston. I wish that i had. Although I did put a shift kit in it, it seems a little softer than I expected. We are going to put an AOD in it next, or I would pull it and update the servo piston.
