Camshaft installation tool?

So, my ‘hot rod 289’ for my 68 has been pulled out, and a newer roller 5.0 was installed. Now years later, I’m going to “fix” my no oil pressure hot rod engine. I pulled the crank, pistons, etc and dropped those parts with my machine shop guy here in Colorado. The block needs to go .040 over, from the previous .030 bore. New cam bearings installed, the usual. I have a bolt that fits the cam that came out, ( I will be able to reuse the cam and lifters thank goodness!) but I thought I would splurge, and buy a store bought handle. I only found GM applications. WTH is up with that? The only other option is about twice the money. What does every one else use?

6” long bolt from the hardware store

Ditto but from my bolt box.

Hands.

dropping off block etc to my eng guy here in vancouver today - stripped down engine myself- cam out - i used a longer handled phillips screwdriver - - gave it enough leverage no nicks at all - just take your time - 351W

I don’t understand. Bolts and handles…I don’t know what these are being used for. I did buy a spendy ebay cam bearing driver set to put new bearings in…yes odd SBF Ford journals have multiple bearing/driver adapters for each journal. Other than that the cam just slides in. What am I missing?

I’m getting to be kind of a tool snob, in my old age. “They” sell a handle, that gives you more leverage, and therefor less of a chance to potentially bump a cam bearing out of place, or nick it, during installation. I don’t know if it’s just the thread pitch, bolt diameter, or what but the same tool doesn’t show for a Ford.
