Brought the Cougar out yesterday after the rain stopped to the local Ford dealer’s annual car show. I brought my 2 sons with me. It ended up being a great day for all involved. Free burgers/dogs, ice cream and treats like that. What’s not to like.
I took 1st place in the Mercury/Lincoln best car in show category. In the pic below is the dealership manager, myself then 2nd, 3rd and honorable mention followed by Miss DC 2012.
Thanks guys. There are some funny posts above. It was nice to chat her up about a patient of mine who was the former Miss Maryland a few years back. She works with her now on QVC. Small modeling world it is. Oh the circles I travel in. Lol
Her dress and sunglasses do look “60’s” ish. I did take one with her too and the car as well. I only showed my wife the pic here though which caused a bit of discussion. I did three signed 8x10 pics from her. One for each son and me too.
What other shirt are you going to wear but a kick ass WCCC shirt? Well, that blue convertible one that I think is going to be made might look better for this car.
In MY “research” (cough, stalker, cough) I read that the poor thing is going to (or had) voluntary/preventative double mastectomy due to the strong family history. Horrible but maybe will save her life.
Sheehy Ford does this show annually to raise $$ for Breast Cancer. Only fitting that she was there. You are correct, she did have this done. With or without them, she’s a great woman. Got to talk to her for a few minutes about a colleague of hers that’s a patient of mine. She is really nice to chat with.
Yeah I saw that too, that’s pretty tragic. Seems kinda crazy to do that just as a preventive measure, but I’m not a doctor. My mind instead wonders if they generally put in fake ones afterward. Probably.
Anyway, I’m the only one around here who’s actually her age, so I hereby call dibs. Though I might have to learn to rollerskate to keep up.
