Carburetor restoration recommendations?

Any recommendations on a good place to send my Holley to be restored? The Holley Custom Shop website says they re-plate and rebuild vintage carburetors but when I called they don’t offer that service any more.

Also, the vacuum motor on the side of my 390 GT air cleaner doesn’t work. Can these be rebuilt? Anybody have someone who does that?

Joe Bunetic is the man.

Spoke with him today and I’ll be sending my carb off to him as soon as I can.

He quoted $600 including replating the entire carb and all parts. Some larger operations that I saw online run in the mid $400s or a little more but I’d rather deal with one reputable guy who does one carb at a time.

I just had my Autolite 2100 rebuilt from Custom Rebuilt Carbs in New Jersey. The owner is Phil and he is totally hands on. I visited his shop and was amazed at how many employees were working diligently on every type of classic carb you could imagine. He stocks thousands of carbs and was kind enough to rebuild mine in just a few days. The results were total perfection ! He replated and repainted everything to Concours quality. Outstanding work and a true gentleman to deal with. Give him a call. I attached a link to his website. He ships all over the globe.

I’ll second Joe Bunetic. He did my CJ 4-spd carb last year ~ looks so sweet and ran like a champ! Barely had to touch it once it was on the car.

Quoted me $600 as well.
