That’s the original color of my 68 Cougar. Your paint job looks great! and the color sure looks nice with fresh paint. I’ll have to go back to that color someday.

Thanks for all the great compliments guys! This project started almost exactly 5 years ago after sitting in my garage for a lot of years basically being a work bench and garage shelf (place to pile stuff).

That’s a great combination. One of these days I have to add a standard deluxe Cougar to the pride. That would be a perfect combo.

The Caribbean blue, does it have a hint of green in it, or is it more blue? you can never trust some monitors.

Definitely depends on the lighting…more blue in the light, more green in the shade. As I said in the “wheels and tires” thread, I cannot lie, this is actually a Mercedes Benz color VERY close to the original that we found under the rear package tray (un spoiled/un faded original paint). Add some of the very best paint and clear coat $ can buy and we have a Caribbean Blue Mettalic that Ford Motor Company could have only dreamed of in 1968!
