So, last week on my way home with my Comp Green Eliminator from MI, on my last stop near Clarion, PA off Rte 80, a guy comes up and is looking around the car…
“Nice car - whaddya got in it”?
“351 Cleveland”
“I like the color. I have a 428 car at home - right down the road”
“Cool - what color”
"Same as this - Comp Green. “How long have you had it”
“Ummm - about 7 hours” 
As we’re talking - another guy comes over and goes “Nice car - is it a real Eliminator?”
“Yes”
“I have a 67 XR7 at home. I go to car shows and I’m the only Cougar there”
“Do you know this guy - he has a Cobra Jet Eliminator”
“No - we haven’t met before…”
So, there we were - three Cougar owners from different places, pulled together for a few minutes by a car on a trailer at the gas station.
We chatted for a couple minutes - they wished me luck with the car any my ride home - and off I went.
The CJ owner looked familiar. I have to wonder if I had spoken to him at some point at Carlisle over the years.
