A friend of mine just saw this posted about our car.http://cgdailydrive.com/car-spotter-1969-mercury-cougar-eliminator/

Very nice! You would think that they would have tried to look you up at the show…

Very nice indeed. It’s great to see Cougars getting the love by the media. As Bill stated above, to bad the author didn’t look you up. I like how he used the line “attractively patina’ed". I really enjoy seeing Cougars that get used. Congrats!

Ditto’s on seeing another cat getting some press, but I still like the black one better :poke: But werent the guidelines cars not at shows? Of course I would certainly bend the rules on this one. Anyway I’ll 2nd its a shame the writter didnt look you up at the show, its always more interesting to get the personal side of the car especially for us fellow catheads :beerchug:

I did not realize there was a technical issue here. Sorry to offend any. Actualy it was not a show it was ans anniversary party for Hot Rod Radio in Milwaukee. if I did wrong here would a moderator please remove the thread.

Lew, no problems here! Glad you posted it up for all of us to see. What I think CatsRock was referring to is this:

Car Spotter, which runs two or four pages every month. It’s a simple concept: Eagle-eyed readers from all over the world spy interesting old cars in their daily travels, take a few decent snapshots, and send ’em in to us. These aren’t car-show photographs or glamor portraits; these are “man on the street” pics of vintage vehicles hidden in plain sight, be it on the street, in someone’s backyard, or in the supermarket parking lot.

I’m cheating the Car Spotter format a bit with the ’69 Mercury Cougar Eliminator shown here. I came across it at an impromptu car show that took place in conjunction with the Wisconsin Hot Rod Radio show’s 5th Anniversary Party,

Lew, no problem here either, sorry if my attempt at a little tongue in cheek humor went off track. Anytime one of our cats gets some coverage for the world to see is good for the whole community :ylsuper:

Well I didnt mean to kill the thread, i’d be besides myself if my cat showed up in an article anywhere :smoke:
