I bought a 24" champion radiator and it interferes with the hood it will not close by about a half inch
Has anyone ever heard of this?
First make sure the radiator is fully seated in the lower mounts. Also measure the height of the old radiator and the new one to see if they are the same. A radiator for a Fairlane/Torino will look the same, but are taller.

Maybe if the radiator was designed for some other car. I can see a radiator designed for a Comet or Fairlane not fitting.
I bought a Champion for my 69 several years ago now and had the same problem- I ended up going with a different brandā¦

I had bought a āKKSMOTORSPORTSā radiator, and I had save the link, but apparently they are no longer in business, I canāt get the web page to open up. At the time, the Champion was āexpensiveā for me, but as you know, it just didnāt work. The kks, was less expensive, smaller than what I thought I was getting, but so far has worked great for me. Check on Ebay, Iām sure there are other knock offs available.
You wonāt have any problems with this excellent quality repro, and it looks and fits like the original:
