I think the 69 may not be an Eliminator. It is VIN 9F91Q510049. I think the first Eliminator is VIN 9F91M559473 (error from trying to read a low res picture I got 9F91M559585). But still a cool Cougar.
From the add.

I like this set of decals. This Cougar will need a Marti report done for it.

A Eliminator would not have had pin strips and Eliminator strips.

Neal is correct the '69 was produced too early to be an Eliminator.
The 69 has XR-7 door panels and seats so those have been replaced. The CJ 428 decals look like the ones used on the 69 Cyclone Spoilers. Still a car worth bringing back. Does anyone else think that the ELIMINATOR lettering looks too big on the orange 70?

The '70 is 0F91M510877. Maurice listed it previously back in October, but pulled the listing when he started learning a little more about the car. I believe he really wants to keep it, but his Wife isn’t as understanding (to which I can relate).
Yes, they are not supposed to be filled in lettering, right? Way too much $$ for the condition/items not correct.
FirstEliminator is 9F91M559473.
Randy Cavner has seen the car in person. Says the interior is really nice: “It was unbelievable how nice the Houndstooth interior has been preserved”, but that it has a lot of wear on the steering wheel and kick panels for the mileage. Perhaps the seats were reskinned in the past?
He also said that the ELIMINATOR quarter decals appear to be from a hardware store. Randy also mentioned rust in the rear wheel wells and lower quarter areas, but I have no pics and don’t know how much rust we are talking about. There are also indications of previous damage to the hood and grille, based on pics of the car.
I like the car a bunch! But with that description of damage, it would be need to quite a bit less…
