I stumbled across this ad yesterday morning from Astro Lincoln Mercury in Pensacola, FL where my 428CJ Cougar came from. This ad was run about two weeks after my car was released.

6 Months later this was in the Pensacola classifieds. Could it be the same car?
Fascinating finds Kerry - chances are good that it is your car.
And the dealer is using the fact that they have a CJ Cougar on the lot as a marketing tool. It’s a reminder of the pre-internet days - high school in the '70s - just how rare it was to see a factory Cobra Jet or Hemi in the flesh.

I’ll post another ad I found as well that had a 68 428CJ 4-speed car on the pre-owned lot and the local Dodge dealer advertising a 440 Superbird.
I know - plus it has a heater! Which was probably that 428 Cobra Jet radiating heat through the firewall and transmission tunnel into the interior

Not only do they have heaters, but they have radios. And back then, you had your choice of music on AM. I’ll take them all please!
