Interesting pic of the Lincoln-Mercury Sports panel from 1970. Note the L-M Sports patches on the jackets. I had no idea those jackets were purple!
Attached is a scan of a 1968 dealer brochure that I have with baseball player Al Kaline on the cover.
I had a few of the L-M sports panel brochures made up some years back for a few of the guy’s on Mc.net. I had my original one signed by Al Kaline.(he is a hall of famer) He said he remembers doing those like it was yesterday. Since he was a Detroit tiger and Detroit won the world series in 1968, and inside the brochure was the announcement of the xr7-G, I thought that would be cool to have him sign it.
