Correct Paint Colors - Front 68 grill, Head Light Housing, Grill Center

Hi
I’m looking for the correct 68 grill-Assembly black color, headlight by bucket, and the engine bay sheet metal. I have Spray Max 2k Hotrod Black for the grill but I was wondering if the under hood paint was a lacquer semigloss, satin black?

For any of the black exterior pieces that you want to look nice, like the grille, SEM Trim Black is awesome stuff. Lays down wetter than most paints and smooths out to a really nice satin black. I haven’t tried the one you mentioned so if you like it then it should be fine, as long as it’s not gloss or flat.

For the engine compartment, I’ll let others chime in with specific recs, it depends on how ‘concours’ you’re trying to be. But I’d say it’s a satin black.

I too used SEM trim black. Used Krylon Aluminum for the sides of the grille bars.
