Cougar at HS Homecoming

I’ll be letting the principal at my kids HS drive my Cougar around the track tonight with the Homecoming King/Quees in/on her. Of course it’s raining tonight. Best part is my daughter is one of 4 finalists for her senior class Queen. Wouldn’t that be great? She gets to ride in her around the track.

No matter what it’s going to be a great night.

Hopefully someone will get some pics as I’ll be walking her out onto the field.

Sorry, just a really proud dad moment.

That’s cool - good luck!

Hopefully the rain pauses so they can get the parade lap in. I remember when you bought that car, didya ever think it would make a special moment like this even more special?

Congrats,

What a great night. The rain held, thankfully. My daughter was in the Homecoming court and one of her close friends that we have know for years, and is like another daughter, got the top vote.

Had the area where the top drops packed with moving blankets and pulled the rear seat to minimize any damage to it as well. The car looked great with 3 kids sitting up on the rear and the principal driving it around the track. The spectators enjoyed it all as well.

One little piece of damage that I just straightened out. The E brake handle got totally pushed back by the foot of the principal as he was engaging the E Brake with his foot. He didn’t realize it but I sure did as I got in to try to move it off the track. Reaching for where it should be and not finding it was a surprise but straightened it out and all is well.

Still have a few kids to get through HS and I’d gladly offer her up again for next year. I can not believe that 5 years has gone by since I bought her and never really thought that these kinds of memories were in the cards.

Great time. Thanks for reading.

Great times! Pix???

I made a board with padding and matching vinyl that covers the boot and top for mine. Have used it several times and worked out well. I also left the seats in and just covered them, one rule…NO HEELS! It’s so cool seeing it in parades or weddings.

The board with padding sounds like a great idea. I might need to look into making one of those. As for the rear seat, I feel that the very easy lifting of it out is the way to go. heels or not, there will be no rips what so ever on it as it is sitting in my garage. :-)))

I need to lead some pics but haven’t in a while and kinda forgot how to. Believe that photobucket was how I last did it. I know…pretty lame.
