Cougar Rotisserie

This might be as good a place as any to ask. I’m interested in building a rotisserie for a Cougar. Does anyone have a plan by any chance or know where I might find one?

I found a whole lot of options by using Google 1965 - 1968 Mustang Rotisserie - for example:

Thanks Royce. I’ve been looking at them for quite awhile. If I found a used one close by, I’d probably go that route. But I’d rather spend $500 on material and build exactly what I want.

You could bild something like this for $350 in materials.

Pretty sure Brian Aust built one.

I was going to build one too, but I found the Titan ROT4500 for 1250 bucks delivered. Excellent build quality (in my opinion) rolls easy and it actually fits in my garage.

Define “close-by”. `4-5 hours? I hear I90 is lovely this time of year (if the tolls don’t kill ya).

I can’t say I wouldn’t enjoy a visit with you. What have you got?

I was going to build one many moons ago. But, it’s one of those projects that when you get done you’ll be questioning yourself “why didn’t I do this or I should have done it this way”. So, I bought one and figured my time was better spent on what I wanted to do, which was restoring the Cougar.
Make sure you get the hydraulic jacks if you don’t have a lift for mounting the body on the rotisserie. The only up grade I need to do to mine is larger caster wheels so it rolls easier over uneven surfaces.

I passed on one a few weeks ago, and have reached back out to the dude for the particulars. I’ll PM you if I come up w/something.

That is one pretty piece of equipment right there. Very nice.

They are on eBay right now for $1050 with free shipping:

Wow good price. The $1050 one isn’t free shipping though. Still tempting.

Damn! Now I feel like I paid too much!! I’m spoiled by how easy it is flip it over and work on the bottom side!

You are right - I edited my reply. If you return it you have to pay both ways.
