This summer I ran into a setback!
My 68 cougar project had to have the frame professionally straightened. It was so far out that the fenders and hood wouldn’t line up. My passenger side shock tower was over 1 3/4 inch and twisted while the nose of the car was buckled up. It was so far out the shop owner was questioning their calibration. They pulled the firewall forward one inch which raised the forward end of the doors an inch. Leroy’s frame alignment shop in Independence Missouri did the work.
If you get a chance watch early episodes of Graveyard Cars on you tube, they straighten out a frame even worse than yours. Good luck!
