Place your bid…

As is my tradition, I’ll buy a $50 WCCC gift certificate for the person who fantasy bids closest on Lot 1082 - the Boss Eliminator restored by John Benoit. Eligible bids (it should go without saying) need to be posted here before the car gets on stage. Only one entry per person. Use the “hammer” price before commissions. Closest can be over or under, but under wins in event of a tie. You can edit your bid, so long as you do it before the car hits the stage. Void where prohibited. Judge’s ruling is final. Your mileage may vary.

Both Boss 302 Eliminators will sell Friday (924 is currently listed as the first Friday number)

$120,302

Wish it goes for $148,000+

Market says $ 88,500

Hope to Heck it goes way beyond my wish-

Way to Go John! Looks stunning!

Best line up of Cougars at an auction ever?

My bid is $135,000 and I hope it does more because hagerty seems to think Cougar’s are on the decline :snooty:

Could use a GT-E or other high-end first generation car or two. It is a nice line-up though.

I’m interested to see how the super drag-pak Eliminator will do in comparison to the Benoit restored car. SDP obviously adds some value, but I’ve got to believe the fresh Cascade restoration puts that car on a different level. Anyone know who did the SDP car?

96,450

At least in a while.

Mecum Kissimmee is going to have a few too including this honey:

^^^ looks like the Cougar that KTL restored and had a Carlisle a few years ago.

SDP car is an older restoration, but was supposed to have been “freshened up” just a few years ago ~ I believe after it changed hands in 2012.
