Hello, I have a 1968 Cougar XR7 and I want to put Cragars (or other mag rims) and raised White letter tires on it. Does anyone have any advice on where to buy and what sizes I could go with to give her a meatier look? wondering if 235 60 14’s will fit? I found a great deal on discontinued Goodyear tires but not sure if they will fit or if it will be a problem. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Going that wide on a 14" rim is probably going to rub some where under certain conditions. The end of the steering arm will contact the inside of the tire if there is inadequate back spacing, and pushing the wheel outwards will result in the tire hitting the fender opening when you turn or hit a bump.
on 15x8’s, 235 rubs seriously on the front. back is OK.
i will get 225’s for the front this spring.
cooker has several options.
245-60-14 will fit (easily) on the rear if the rim is wide enough but anything larger than 205 or 215-60-14 on the front will likely rub
