What’s up peoples? I have been trying to find the information for the missing base plate on my Holley List 4628 carburetor.
Is it the same as the 4609-U department store version?
I have one of those I could look at. I would like to find the correct part # and not one that “can work”.
The web is diong my head in and I have limited knowledge of carburetors. They have too many holes to keep track of. I usually only pay attention to the four big ones running through it making sure they are clean.

It’s a 780 CFM square bore Holley for a '70 Fairlane / Cyclone with 429 engine. Not precisely the same as the base from a C9AF-U but it ought to fit and work fine.

The 4609 I have is a complete carb. I did not mean I was going to use parts from it. I ment I could look at it if the number is the same. That clears up the 4609 base is not the same. I would like to know the correct base plate part number so I can acquire the correct base when I see it for sale.
