Dash pad install

How much of a chore is it to install an after market dash pad on a 67? Windshield got broke on the highway, so it’s time. Advice would be great.

Gry did an excellent job of describing how to modify the aftermarket dash pads when she restored her XR7G. Hopefully this link will answer your questions. https://cccforum.discoursehosting.net/t/healing-heroes-win-the-mustangs/129/1

Little off subject, but I have a repo dash that I ended up not using, as I found a VG original, if interested in a good deal, contact me. I’ve been intending to list it, just have been lazy.

West Coast Classic Cougars just put their new and improved dash pad on sale. They have a great write up describing it. As you read through the description they mention the thick area that Gry dealt with using the grinder and flapper/sanding disc. Here is a link to WCCC’s new dash pad. http://www2.cougarpartscatalog.com/67dash.html

^^^ Will the brand new and improved dash be available in dark red/maroon also?
