Does anyone have current experience with dash pads?
Is the Dashes Direct product still considered the best?
I see lots of price variation but Summit appears to have the best price w/ shipping $489.99.
Dashes Direct is still the best option for dash pads however they are not perfect. I have had issues with the side mounting on two different ones pulling the mounting bolts out of the pad itself. I ended up having to drill a couple holes to keep the tension down and stop those bolts from getting pulled out. Also the center of the dash will rise in the center rather then being flat.
However they are still the best option for a repro dash pad
There’s a place called “just dashes” that I’ve heard about that restores dashes but they aren’t cheap by any stretch of the imagination. I have no experience with them. But they might be worth a call.
